Cooking tips!
Tortillas are one of my favorite go-tos for a quick, flavorful meal. Wrap them, fold them, or stack them into a quesadilla, whatever you’re in the mood for, from a light lunch to an easy weeknight dinner to something a little more festive for the table.
What can you make with tortillas?
You can fill a tortilla with almost anything: chicken, fish, beans, falafel, grilled vegetables, a creamy dressing, or something spicy. Try a Mexican-style chicken wrap with bell pepper and corn, a Greek version with tzatziki and feta, or go vegetarian with a bean and grilled vegetable burrito.
Choosing your tortilla
The tortilla itself makes a difference too, and there are a few types to choose from.
Whole wheat tortillas are sturdy and easy to roll, great for a healthy lunch wrap or a well-filled vegetarian burrito.
Corn tortillas are slightly sweet and naturally gluten-free, the classic choice for tacos or quesadillas.
White flour tortillas are soft and flexible, perfect for wraps, Asian-style rolls, or anything with a cold filling.
Pick the right tortilla, and you can match the texture and flavor to whatever you’re making.
